An inner circle of melodic-death metal is being established in the province of Milan.
A new brotherhood summoning up the fragmented scene of the melodic death metal has been created in 2006. This alliance - called DeathShadows – defines a limited musical/territorial border line.
"The idea came into being at the end of the year 2005 - the two young founders of this alliance maintain (Marc from Thorugh Your Silence and Faust from Forgotten Tears).
The aim of this alliance is to promote and support the melodic death metal scene in Milan defining strategies and promotional activities, that is to say organizing concerts and events in association with others Italian and foreigner metal bands.”
"We are a start-up - Marc adds - we want us to get known as soon as possible and with great results. We would like to avoid to rise from the ranks as well as to be trapped in the hierarchy that characterizes the Italian metal scene.”
Our alliance is prone to consider new collaboration and partnership proposals in Italy but especially abroad. That's why promoting tournéé will be organized next spring in Austria, Germany, Holland and France in order to introduce at the best the new generation of the Italian metal.
At the moment Deathshadows is composed by four promising young bands: Though Your Silence (http://www.throughyoursilence.com), Forgotten Tears (http://www.forgottentears.net), Lifend (http://www.lifend.org) and Sullendusk (http://www.sullendusk.com). “...just another one and we will be full up – Faust ends – Those bands who would like to join in are kindly requested to get in contact and show us their materials.
It is not necessary to have a contract with a label, all we ask you is a good technique and an interesting live activity”.

Celtic Frost Joins 1349 on Stage
16th 2005f November - 2005 04:11:51
Related bands: Celtic Frost
According to a posting on Tom Gabriel Fischer's blog, last Saturday night was a memorable night in Switzerland for fans of 1349 and CELTIC FROST. Fischer has commented: "Saturday to Sunday. Hours of amalgamation. A deep honor. A cogent night spent with our peers, our friends, 1349 and GORGOROTH. Asked to perform the vocals onstage for 1349's cover of CELTIC FROST's 'The Usurper' at a packed club in the remote hills of French Switzerland. Evocative and exceptionally enlightened discussions with many of those present."
After 13 years of silence CELTIC FROST are now ready to kick back in again with a new album release. "Dark Matter Manifest" is the title that the album has been tentatively baptized with.
This will mark the culmination of aproximately three years of songwriting work. The now finished album was recorded over at the Sound Studio in Hanover, Germany and counted with the help of HYPOCRISY/PAIN mastermind Peter Tägtgren as far as the mixing and production goes.
No date has been set up for a release and we have not yet heard of a label that will release it. Apparently the band is still negotiating with different labels, however, fans can surely expect an early 2006 release. We'll keep you updated.

An exact date has not been given yet, and this due to the fact that Threeman Records has not given a date yet.The band also comments on this: "They have asked us not to hand out an mp3 of a tune just yet, we'll see for how much longer we'll play along since we definitely want you guys to hear something off the coming slab of death."
According to the band the cover for this new album will be a killer one elegible for banning. As soon as they hear word from the label it should be out there for the fans to view as well as to download a song from the album.
Check out the bands news in regards to their touring, but it seems that the fans will also have to wait for a while to see them on tour.
